Loosing fat in one area of the body is not possible. If your were to put on 10lbs you would not loose your abdominal muscles but depending on how you put the weight on you could lose your definition. Exercising a muscle will not lose the fat in that area but rather strengthen that targeted muscle.

The abs will still be there and there is no such thing a spot reducing. You gain weight evenly and lose it evenly.
References :
Muscle and fat is different tissue. If you have alot of fat on you and no muscle, your skin will be saggy. If you have no fat and toned muscle, you will look slimmer and more defined.

The only reason people have abs is because they're skinny little runts.
