How do i lose abdominal fat without losing chest, arm, back muslce?
Basicly, im 5′8 175 and want to GAIN weight (about 5 lbs) but in muscle, but lose my abdominal fat. Problem is, to gain muscle you need to gain a little fat. Should i put on ten more pounds of muscle/fat, then start doing cardio? I take creatine and lift, but do no cardio, eat no fast food, no snack food, but take in a bit too much sugar id say from like fruit and the creatine. Basicly i mostly eat oatmeal, protein, waffles, carbs ect, and alot of fruit. PLEASE HELP!
you dont need fat to build muscle you need protein. and losing abdominal fat wont make you lose muscle either. do muliti-muscle exercises such as squats, deadlifts, cleans, and bench to build muscle and burn fat. for each pound of muscle you burn 50 calories. do a series of sprints to accelerate your fat loss to. you also need to do some ab exercises just so that when you lose the fat you have something to show

Whoa Nelly!!! … lots of information to sort through here.
Apparently you’ve been doing a lot of research here. Let me make this simple for you. The two biggest muscle groups in your body are your back and your legs; your chest gets the Mr. Congeniality award. You should do a variety of leg, back and yes chest exercises to get the last 5lbs ;you might actually gain more. Also do dual movement exercises Squats with Shoulder Presses, Deadlifts with Rows and my favorite Chest Presses and Lunges at the Cable system.
To assist you with your quest I am going to endorse you using creatine. However, following the dosing directions do not take more in an attempt to get bigger. Drink plenty of water and don’t stay on Creatine for longer than 8 weeks without resting for a month. Don’t stop doing cardio just cut it back to twice a week while you are trying to gain muscle. Definitely increase protein intake but make it lean protein..Chicken Fish… Keep your sugar intake where it is… muscles run on sugar.
Good Luck
